2. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
When you submit the application form, the partnership inquiry form, or use the chat assistant, we collect:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Your preferred location and the service you're interested in (renting, buying, or both)
- For rental applicants: the gig platforms you drive for and your rental preference
- For buyers: vehicle type of interest and budget range
- The content of any messages you send us through the chat assistant or by email
If you go on to apply for a rental agreement, we will separately collect information required to complete that transaction, including driver's license details and insurance information. That collection is governed by the rental application and agreement you sign at the time.
Information collected automatically
Our web host and form processing service record standard technical data when you visit, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this for security and to understand general site usage.
What we do not collect here
This website does not process payments and does not ask for Social Security numbers, bank details, or payment card numbers. Do not send that information through the website forms or chat.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your application, question, or inquiry — typically within 24 hours
- To determine which of our services fits what you're looking for
- To send you information you asked for, such as vehicle availability or an investor packet
- To operate, secure, and improve the website
- To meet legal, licensing, tax, and recordkeeping obligations
We will only send you marketing messages if you ask us to or if you're an existing customer, and you can opt out at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
4. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers who run our infrastructure on our behalf — our web host, our form and workflow automation service, and our email provider. They may only use the data to provide those services to us.
- Professional advisors such as our accountants, insurers, and attorneys, where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of OTAG, our customers, or the public.
- A successor entity, if OTAG is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We'll notify you if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Third-Party Content on This Site
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and photographs from Unsplash. When your browser requests those files, those providers receive your IP address and basic request data under their own privacy policies. Our chat assistant sends the message you type to our automation service to generate a reply — please don't include sensitive personal details in chat.
6. Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website. We use your browser's session storage for one purpose only: remembering that the chat window has already opened once, so it doesn't reopen on every page view. Clearing your browser data removes it.
7. How Long We Keep It
We keep inquiry and application data for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterward for business records — generally three years from your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required by law or by an active rental or investment relationship. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
8. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and reputable hosting providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Your Rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date
- Ask us to delete your information
- Opt out of marketing communications
10. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Investment Inquiries
If you submit an inquiry about partnering or investing with OTAG, we use your contact information solely to respond to you and to send materials you requested. Investment discussions are private and are conducted individually. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security.
12. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
